7th – 11th September 2026
Nearly 300 rangers from 72 teams took part across Africa this year. Twice as many teams as last year came in under 8 minutes 30, a sign of how hard everyone has been training.
Taking the top spot in the men’s category was Sera Rhino Conservancy’s Team A at 7:14. In the women’s, Sera Rhino Conservancy’s Team B led the way at 9:32. And in the mixed category, Jamanda Community Conservancy’s Ngululu came in first at 8:29.
Race weekend is here, and ranger teams across the continent will line up for the 21km race, with hub events bringing teams together in person at Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya, Kruger National Park and Zuka Game Reserve in South Africa, Kafue National Park in Zambia and Murchison Falls in Uganda.
While you’re here, you can also donate to support ranger welfare, training and equipment. Thanks to founding donor Mark Scheinberg and our other funding partners, every gift is matched.
Congratulations to everyone who took part and particularly to our Top 3 Time Trial Challenge Ranger Teams.
