SUPPORTER FAQ’s 2024

Supporter FAQ’s

How can the public get involved with the Wildlife Ranger Challenge in 2024?

If you would like to show your support and sign up to the global movement in support of wildlife rangers, you can sign up and join in. Lending your name to this campaign is a great way of telling rangers across Africa that you value the work that they do.

What can I do to show my support?

If you would like to do even more to help those on the frontline of conservation, there are a number of ways you can support the Wildlife Ranger Challenge this year:

  • Support the Ranger Fund Match Appeal by making a donation

Make a donation to the Wildlife Ranger Challenge 2024 and your donation will be generously matched by the Scheinberg Relief Fund, DOUBLING its impact.

  • Support the registered ranger teams

Support and encourage the registered ranger teams running across Africa. You can also link your fundraising page to a Ranger Team to ensure your money reaches their organisation if you use our fundraising platform.

  • Voice your Support

Post your messages of support on social media using the hashtags #ForWildlifeRangers and #WildlifeRangerChallenge to tell rangers what their work and the wildlife they protect mean to you.

Follow our social media accounts @tusk_org and @gamerangersassociationofafrica to stay updated with behind-the-scenes content, stories from our ranger teams, messages of support from notable figures, and progress reports on how your support is making a difference.

  • Train Like A Ranger

Have a go at one of the training challenges and see if you’ve got what it takes to be a wildlife ranger. Share how you get on on social media using the hashtag #TrainLikeARanger

  • Join the Rangers on Race Day

Wherever you are in the world, why don’t you run your own 21km run on Saturday 21st September (or in the week leading up to or after it)? This is no easy challenge, so why not set up a fundraising page and ask your friends and family to sponsor your efforts? Every donation you receive will be matched by the Scheinberg Relief Fund.

Thank you for your dedication to Africa’s rangers, wildlife and communities!
