Big Life Foundation has been operating in the Amboseli-Tsavo ecosystem for nearly 30 years. Through its programmes, Big Life has been able to protect wildlife, such as their world-famous elephant population, and their habitats from exploitation.
2022 Bongo Surveillance Project – Aberdare National Park & Maasai Mau Forest

The Bongo Surveillance Project (BSP) organisation helps to secure a future for the world’s last remaining wild Mountain Bongo antelope (Tragelaphus eurycerus isaaci) and to protect the forests where they live.
2022 Communities for Red Colobus (C4RC)
THE GAMBIA
The C4RC ranger team protects the largest remaining population of the endangered Temminck’s red colobus monkeys in The Gambia through the training and empowerment of local people as conservation leaders and the development of livelihood projects.

Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH) is a grassroots NGO and nonprofit in Uganda, established in 2003, which promotes biodiversity conservation by enabling people, gorillas and other wildlife to coexist through improving their health and livelihoods.
2022 Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund – Nkuba Conservation Area
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO
Founded by Dian Fossey in 1967, the Fossey Fund is the largest organisation dedicated to the conservation of gorillas. In Rwanda, we protect and study mountain gorillas and their habitat. We also work to protect the critically endangered Grauer’s gorillas of the DRC.

Since 1986, the North Luangwa Conservation Programme has grown into one of the most comprehensive and successful protected area conservation initiatives on the continent. NLCP’s operational area covers >22,000 km2 of the greater North Luangwa Ecosystem.

Nsumbu Tanganyika Conservation Programme is a partnership between Frankfurt Zoological Society and the Department of National Parks and Wildlife. It was established in 2017 to secure and recover Nsumbu National Park and surrounding areas.

UCF is a UK registered charity with an operating arm in Uganda. Projects include the Recovery of QE, MFs and the Kidepo / Kenya transboundary programme. UCF also runs the Uganda Carnivore & Scavenger programme, and the Technology in Conservation project.
